Travelling & Teaching in Cali, Colombia

  In 2013, I had the opportunity to teach English at a University in Cali, Colombia.  Cali, Colombia is known as the city of Salsa. Jamaicans love Salsa. I had a blast learning Salsa Choke and learning the various dance moves. This was my first time travelling and the experience was really exciting. It is an experience  that I will never forget.  I realized that Colombians and Jamaicans have a lot in common. We share the love for sports especially Track & Field and Football, we love to socialize and meet new people, our personalities are warm and friendly, we have a good taste in fashion and most of all we love great tasting food.  Learning a second language created the opportunities for me to travel and teach and to appreciate another culture.
